We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Service Dog Graduation ceremony April 7, 2023!  

This event is a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our amazing Service Dogs, Volunteer Puppy Raisers and their Veteran handlers.  

We would be honored to have you join us for this special occasion. The event will include a short graduation ceremony, light refreshments, an opportunity to meet our Service Dogs, the Volunteer Puppy Raisers, their new Veteran handlers, and to learn more about Mutts With A Mission.

To help us with our planning, we kindly request that you RSVP to this event by Monday April 3, 2023.  The Graduation is FREE to attend however we do have limited space and need to ensure we can accommodate everyone.

A few notes for the evening:

-All dogs must remain on a leash at all times.

-All patrons that bring their dog must enter the building through the exhibition hall located inside the Norfolk Scope Parking garage.

-All patrons must provide proof of vaccination for their dog.

-All patrons will be required to fill out a digital liability release waiver prior to entering the game.

Learn more about becoming a Puppy Raiser for Mutts With A Mission! This is a one day Orientation to have a better understanding of the commitment involved in puppy raising and be on the list for our incoming puppies!

You can help our puppies go on to become life-changing Service Dogs by becoming a volunteer Puppy Raiser and providing a loving home to a puppy.

All expenses for the puppy raising will be provided by Mutts With A Mission. (food, medical, training, treats, etc)

The next orientation starts Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Mutts With A Mission Training Facility.

You can fill out the Puppy Raiser Application and email in or bring with you.

The new Black Rifle Coffee Company in Virginia Beach is having a flag raising ceremony on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Mutts With A Mission will have a table set up and several of our Volunteer Puppy Raisers will be there to answer questions and share more about what we do and how to get involved if you are interested. And of course several of our Service Dogs(and puppies) in Training will be in attendance.

The Garage Brewery, in Chesapeake, is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Mutts With A Mission which includes proceeds from a raffle table, 2 food trucks and the release of a specially crafted beer for this event only named “Vets Best Friend”. The event will also include a Doggy Agility Course & Splash Area. 

The University of Georgia Alumni Chapter of Hampton Roads, Virginia, will also be participating in a drive for items on our Wish List which include:

We are excited to have a Dock Diving Clinic with OneFitK9 during our Open House.

OneFitK9 is going to be starting with dock diving demonstrations between 9am-10am following by 30 minute one on one evaluations and intro to dock diving for those that are interested. Must reserve a spot and they are being offered on the day of Open House for a donation to Mutts With A Mission.

If your dog loves water and loves to jump, definitely give this a try!

A custom ramp has been built to allow all dogs and handlers a safe and easy access to the dock and pool area.

Mutts With A Mission invites you to attend the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for its new training facility.

We will be having a ribbon cutting, facility tours, a meet and greet with some of our Service Dog teams and of course the puppies who are entering the program to be future Service Dogs.

We will also be show casing some Dock Diving Demonstrations, Service Dog demonstrations in the outdoor agility arena, and refreshments!

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony attendees will be invited to enjoy light refreshments and will be offered the opportunity to tour the facility.  

About the New Center 

The training facility will enable Mutts With A Mission to expand its programs and services. The new facility is located on 23 acres in Virginia Beach with a custom dock diving pool with wheelchair accessible ramp, a couple of separated agility fields, puppy yard, outdoor LED lights for cool summer evening training, indoor puppy room, grooming station, and a large indoor training facility, that will be used as a great resource for meetings, trainings and events.  

We will be down at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront between 17-18th St. Stop by and say hi and meet some of the Service Dogs and Future Service Dogs.

A good breakfast in the morning can change your whole day.
